Her travels and exposure to diversity resonate in her storytelling, showcasing characters from parts of the world that are usually misunderstood or stereotyped.

She's served as a Showrunner’s assistant and Writers' assistant on Flatbush Misdemeanors (Showtime Network) and Run The World (Starz) TV shows where she learned the inner workings of making a TV show.

Her film “Displaced” boxing short about a Syrian refugee was the official selection of the DTLA Film Festival in 2019 and the Chelsea Film Festival in 2020.

Her half-hour comedy, "LEILA"  (ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship Semifinalist — 2023) follows a struggling, ambitious, Iranian finance major at the end of her college days who's forced to figure out ways to stay in Los Angeles because going back home is no longer an option.

Mojdeh is currently developing an oil drama pilot that takes place in the Middle East.
